It’s me again! I come bearing great news! We found a house. It is actually an apartment complex but not the type of apartment you would think of. It is a three story house and each level is rented out. So we have a floor to ourselves. Each room has a lock and key as well. But the best part, something I have been calling the Christmas miracle, is that we have running water and electricity! What a blessing. We are renting from one of the few houses in Gugulethu that has both running water and electricity! I didn’t say warm water, but I am not about to complain! All I can say is that God provides. Here we were, three days away form moving into a place where we had no place, and God made a way where there seemed to be no way. Some of you may be wondering how we found an actual “house”. Gugulethu is a township that is very big and has its own neighborhoods, so some areas have only shacks made of tin and cardboard while other areas may have cement blocks. We happened to find an actual house, which make this even more of a miracle. Well, I had to tell you all as soon as I got the news. God bless and thanks for all of the prayers. Just know that we really feel that God has called us to this place, and I know that He will take care of us and protect us while we are there; and we will do our best to be smart as well.
