Back in SA

Hello friends and family,

I am just sending out a quick email to let you all know I made it safely back to South Africa.  I know a lot of you have facebook and know this already, but not all of you.

I got to see a lot of you while I was home, and I had such a wonderful time! When people ask me how my trip was, I can't seem to help but smile at the thought of how refreshing and rejuvinating it was for me. You have no idea how much you all encourage me.

The spaghetti lunch was great! Thank you to all of you who came and gave out of the kindness of your hearts. I was truly touched and very happy to share a small part of my world in South Africa with you. I am constantly blown away by the willingness of poeple to give, even in these hard times. You all are so generous.  

Come Monday I will have been here for a week. I spent most of the week getting acclimated again and going to some Justice ACT's meetings. We have a lot of opportunities coming up to teach Traffick Proof, and I am excited to jump back into things. Next Saturday we are giving our presentation to around 2,000 women. The opportunity for them to learn about human trafficking and learn our protective points in invaluable for them and for their children. We are very excited about it. We also just finished making a ten minute documentary on human trafficking in South Africa. If anyone is interested I can mail one out to you at a pretty low cost. Just let me know.

I have been forced a bit to lay low this week as I just got my car back on Friday. My car died the night before I left to come back to the U.S.. It is now fixed. I have to be honest and say I am afraid to get my hopes up about it staying fixed. I seem to be let down time and time again with another problem. So please pray with me that it stays fixed this time at least until Christmas. That is all I ask!

Ok I will come to you soon with more exciting news, I am sure. I just wanted to touch base with you all and say thank you again for giving me such an amazing time at home. I feel so rich in friends and family. I am so blessed.
