Wow! It has been far too long, and for that I am sorry. There has been so much going on that I don’t even know where to start. It is so hard to explain what happens in just one day. I will try to give you the highlights. I also want to say thank you for praying with me about my car. Since I wrote the email, I haven’t had any major problems with it. Keep praying!

Bible study is going well. I have one new girl who I have been in touch with in the past few months. She is the younger sister of a good friend in Masi. She started coming to Bible Study on her own. This may not sound like a big deal, but in this community it is. I know she wants to change her life. We have had some great studies as we were going through the book of James and Philippians. I can just see all of their wheels turning as we discuss how the Bible applies to their life in Masi. Please pray with me that she keeps coming. Today was the first day she missed in a long while.

Angela is doing better! She has been able to sit up in a chair on her own. She was not able to do even that about a month ago. I think the stretches are really helping her legs and feet. I showed her mom what to do so she can do it when I am not there. Not that I am an expert, but any movement is helpful for her. She is completely cleared of Tuberculosis which she had a few months ago. This past Sunday she decided she wanted to be baptized. You guys- it was awesome! Nothing was going to stop her. It was cold out and we were all so worried about dunking her in one of the cold swimming pools. But she insisted that she go completely under the water. So we put her in a wetsuit! That in itself was a struggle as her limbs are so fragile and wetsuits are tricky to get in and out of. But we got her in and in front of her friends and family she openly dedicated her life to serving Jesus. It was such an awesome celebration! I could tell she was so excited about her new life!

Justice [ACTs] is very busy. I am trying to balance between that and spending my time in Masi. Right now Justice [ACTs] is taking up a lot of my time. It is hard to know what to say no to when everything here seems urgent and important. We have four presentations in the next week and a half. Friday we are going to Gugulethu (the township I lived in for two and half months) to do a Traffick Proof presentation for about 200 kids. Then on Monday I am doing a presentation for 1,200 kids. Guys- I would be lying of I said I wasn’t nervous about this. The girl who usually does presentations with me is in the US right now, so it is up to me to talk to these 1,200 kids! This is my first time talking to a crowd over 500. Yes, I am nervous, but I know that I can’t care about how I feel. These kids need to hear what we have to say. My nerves are nothing compared to the reality of human trafficking in South Africa. So I will do my best, but I would love to know all of you are praying for me in the meantime. Apart from Him, I can do nothing! It is time I step it up a notch!

Justice [ACTs] made a documentary, and it is now available on youtube. Just go to  http://www.youtube.com/user/JusticeActsSA and you can watch the documentary. It is about ten minutes long, and it will give you a better understanding of human trafficking in South Africa.

Hopefully I am not forgetting about anything I told you in the last email. If I ever leave you hanging on an issue, please feel free to ask. As I said earlier, so much happens in one day that it is hard to keep all of it in my brain. I am running out of head space:)

I must be going now. Love to all. I will be in touch again soon.

Christina
